Boarding

Nobelhouse College has thriving boarding houses with boys and girls housed in separate hostels and supervised by senior hostel personnel. The hostels preserve some measure of privacy whilst at the same time engendering a spirit of community where boys and girls meet at set times for recreational and social activities that give them a sense of belonging and shared responsibilities. It is our aim to ensure that the boarders at Nobelhouse College develop into self-disciplined, responsible, and independent young adults.

In line with the philosophy of the college for creating an environment and an inspiration for the development of great virtues such as selfless service, honesty, integrity, hard work, and stewardship in its students, each house is named after some of the founding fathers of the Nigerian nation who displayed these qualities. They include among others: Obafemi Awolowo, Nnamdi Azikiwe, Ahmadu Bello, Tafawa Balewa. Although the boarding house is planned to work in harmony within the broader context of the school, each house helps develop its own character and atmosphere, its own conventions, and customs, including its own representative colours.
